UPDATE AS OF SEPT 8: *ATTORNEY OREN LEIB NO LONGER REPRESENTING JEN SMITH* Oren Leib announced on 8/11/08 that he was closing his private practice, accepting a new job, and would be unable to represent us. FFRV and Jen Smith cannot financially afford to pay for daily fines that may be imposed by Brooklawn should this case be dismissed. We do NOT have open foster home space for these animals, nor do local rescues or animal shelters: There is no safe place for these animals to go! FFRV is in need of an attorney, as well as funding to pay for one (we had counted on Mr. Leib and his pro-bono services). A new court date is 12/10/08.

"NO YARD SALE FUNDRAISER"

Our annual Fall yard sale raises about $1700 a year. However, this event needs 40 volunteers and 6 weekends of preparation...and we were unable to pull that off this year.
We still VERY MUCH need that $1700, so we are seeking 17 people to each donate $100! (But donations in any amount are needed too!)

Our Goal: $1700 - Raised as of 10/30: $1025.00

Our cats are adopted out spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas, de-wormed and tested for Feline Leukemia & FIV. We are funded 100% from donations and out of our own pockets. Due to this there is a donation required for our cats-
